Art, History and Wine are combined on this route across the exceptional Peñaranda de Duero heritage, the Roman site of Clunia and an introduction to the world of Ribera del Duero wines.
It includes a visit to the interior of Palacio de Peñaranda and a panoramic tour around the village, full of typical Castillian architecture; gothic jurisdictional roll, Plaza Ducal, the pharmacy or the Castle. we also visit the Roman site of Clunia , to explore its Forum , the Baths and the Theatre, built into the rock. At the end the tour includes a visit to a winery, and Ribera del Duero Crianza and Reserva wine tasting with snack.
Time to have lunch
During the afternoon we will visit Aranda de Duero and its historic area to admire the striking façades of the churches of San Juan and Santa Maria. We will have the opportunity to visit the Interpretation Centre related to Wine Architecture and one of the underground cellars which have more than 7 kilometers of galleries excavated under the houses of Aranda de Duero.
To finish the afternoon we visit another winery and we will taste their wine.
